Olbermann is Right

Three words you will probably not hear me say again. But Andrew Napolitano (and Geraldo Rivera, for that matter) have become embarrassments to Fox News and should be kicked to the curb.

For some real hilarity, check out the comments at 9-11 Flogger. As usual, the kooks are deluding themselves into thinking that Keith said this with a wink and a nod:

Olbermann knows the truth
I wonder why he had the little notation "not really" with the photo. He's no dummy. He knows the truth. He's owned. Thank God for those like Olbermann for speaking out on other issues, but it''s so heartbreaking to have to tolerate his compliance with the network. He has been walking on thin ice lately, almost getting fired.

Olbernann said:

"OK. Napolitano is a truther. I don't have to agree with him. You don't have to disagree with him. But according to his employer's code of smear, they've got to fire him."

If said a certain way, one could assume "I don't have to agree with him" is equivalent to "I don't agree with him". But since Roger Ailes was the worst person target and not Napolitano, I would take Oblermann's words as carefully chosen and politically safe but not actually anti-truther. Nevertheless, I bet many will get the impression they are anti-truther.

This should not be misconstrued as Olbermann saying he thinks Napolitano should be fired. In effect, and to our great benefit, he is instigating a controversy at FOX, whether intentionally or not, that could lead to an explosion of discussion about 9/11 and Building 7.

I do think that Olbermann is more using the Truthers as a convenient club against his old nemesis, Fox News. But that doesn't mean that he's pro-Truther; I suspect he finds them just as wacky as we do.

Faux Noose is the propaganda wing of the Republican Party. The goal is not to inform the public or provide a source of "news." The goal is to misinform the trailer-park dwellers on the right and divide the nation.

How Faux Noose makes you stupid.

It's also important to understand who owns Faux Noose. Faux Noose is a division of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. The second largest shareholder of News Corp is Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al-Saud of Saudi Arabia.

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al-Saud of Saudi Arabia has a World view that's virtually identical to Osama bin Laden. Thus, it should come as a surprise to no one that troofers are welcome at Faux Noose.

Of course, the question remains: Why is a "news" outfit that's owned by an enemy of the United States allowed to inject its venom into our airwaves?

Fuck Faux Noose--and fuck the brain-dead retards who watch that crap and patronize their advertisers.

Additionally, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al-Saud of Saudi Arabia is the main contributor to the efforts to construct the controversial Islamic center near ground zero--which, of course, is used by Faux Noose to further divide the American public.

I think he's not in favour of firing people for what they say but is pointing out the hypocrisy of having Truthers spouting Truther crap on Fox when Fox went after one of Obama's aides for a far more tenuous link to Trutherism.

Faux's World view is quite simple, and can be summed up as follows:

Republican == good.

Democrat == bad
.

So if Van Jones has a tenuous connection to the troofers, it's intolerable--tantamount to treason.

Thus, we can see that

Democrat == bad.

If Judge Napolitano suddenly comes out babbling in support of the troofers, it's not shocking or scandalous at all, and demonstrates Faux's longstanding commitment to "fair and balanced" "news" reporting.

Thus, we can see that

Republican == good.

It's just good, old fashioned duplicity in action.

Faux Noose--unfair and biased.

It does beg the question, have any of the sane hosts a Fox said anything about Napolitano's twooferism?

Van Jones was fired (actually forced to resign) because he had become an embarrassment. Don't kid yourself that he had a "tenuous link" to Trooferism; he signed one of the early Troof petitions. Napolitano and Geraldo have similarly become embarrassments and if Fox wants to maintain whatever credibility it has, it should jettison them posthaste. You can argue that Napolitano and Geraldo are worse in that they have Jones' example to show them what happens to nutbars; I would not disagree.

The scary thing is that Geraldo and Nappy both have law degrees. Perhaps they both forgot their training, that intently studying both sides of an argument is a basic tenet in their profession. That alone makes these guys idiots. Now, if they have studied both sides, then what they're stating is immensely idiotic and insane.

They're out there. There was a hardened Troofer a couple years ahead of me, around 2006 (the Golden Age of Troof). He also believed that Nick Berg was beheaded by the CIA and... lots of other crap I can't even remember now.

Last I heard he was unemployed.
