Search in Vain

I was amused by this request for information by a dilligent 9/11 conspiracy theory researcher over at the Loose Change Forum:

Im Going To Post Some Stuff At The Hannity Forums about 911 being inside
job

Okay heres what I need

1) I need a list of news articles dealing with the hijackers being trained at U.S. military bases. Hopefully a few of those articles contains quotes from the soldiers saying basicaly "Yes I trained that hijacker, at a military base"

2) I need a list of news articles dealing with Firefighters, Police OFficers, and First responders saying "I was told by my superiors to get back because building 7 was going to be blown up or demolished or brought down, and I followed my orders and then the building fell.". Hopefully with quotes and name and position of person giving the quote.

In the first 7 responses (some by the original poster), there are of course no actual sources. I am curious how long (if ever) it will take him to realize that he isn't talking about a "list of news articles" where soldiers are saying, "Yes I trained that hijacker, at a military base". Every single one of these "training hijackers" myths originates from the same Gannett wire report, not about training hijackers, but about people with some of the same names being trained at military bases. The second story is based largely off of one anonymous e-mail, and one Alex Jones article.

This should actually be amusing.

I suspect this mystery poster is actually a debunker giving the loosers a set of impossible conditions to fulfill.

When they find themselves unable to come up with what he asks for, they will probably peg him as CIA, FBI,, NSA, CBC, CDC, NCIS, CID, DIA, FDA or NKOTB and ban him from the boards.

Thinking "everyone is out to get me" is paranoia.

Thinking one man is out to embarass the whack-jobs... that's just cheerful optimism.

The thought had occured to me admittedly. Telling the difference between truther "research" and outright paradoy is difficult sometime.

James,

I'm not trying to pull a fast one here. Go to this link. Notice where the post is from. Tell me it's not a credible source. I agree, without verification, this article means nothing.

Are you telling me, however, that the Newsweek article and others in that vein, don't exist?

On September 15, Newsweek reported: “U.S. military sources have given the FBI information that suggests five of the alleged hijackers of the planes used in Tuesday’s terror attacks received training at secure U.S. military installations in the 1990s.”

I'd work more on this research more, but I agree with you: there's not enough there to make a strong case of even a weak LIHOP argument.

Where you and I disagree is that I think there's plenty of evidence that could be pursued, but not in the public realm.

Right, here's the opening of the letter that this guy wrote:

It's about time conservative idiots like Steve Kelly and Rod Musgrove got a dose of reality. Of course President Bush knew about the impending attacks on America. He did nothing to warn the American people because he needed this war on terrorism. His daddy had Saddam and he needed Osama.

His presidency was going nowhere. He wasn't elected by the American people, but placed into the Oval Office by the conservative supreme court. The economy was sliding into the usual Republican pits and he needed something on which to hang his presidency.

Yep, he sure sounds like an unbiased, credible source to me! That, like, TOTALLY proves that thermate can be used for demolition!

Alex,

Stop with the termate / demolition stuff. I've never said themate alone was used. Steve Jones has mentioned super thermate (which can be explosive).

I agree that if one was formulating details that would explain WTC 1,2, or 7 as being Controlled Demos, that one would want to include other mechanisms other than themate or superthemate.

I've said I have no background in explosives / demolition. I think you would understand if I were asked who (between the two) I found more credible, I would choose S. Jones over Fetzer.

I don't support S. Jones so much because I find his thermate ideas reasonable and compelling. I support him in his acts such as going on the Tucker Carlson show and trying to get a fair hearing about WTC 7, for example. He was not given a fair hearing, something someone even as combative as you should be willing to admit.

Well OFCOURSE not! They also used heat rays to make people jump, right? Probably used those heat rays to melt the beams too. That's where all those rivers of steel that we saw on TV came from.

I've said I have no background in explosives / demolition.

Which is why you should STFU. Several of us here DO have experience with explosives and demolition, and we've repeatedly told you that you're right the fuck out of 'er, yet you continue to repeat the same clueless nonsense over and over again.

I think you would understand if I were asked who (between the two) I found more credible, I would choose S. Jones over Fetzer.

Right. You have no experience with explosives, so you ofcourse chose "experts" who also don't have any experience with explosives. Makes perfect sense.

He was not given a fair hearing, something someone even as combative as you should be willing to admit.

I wouldn't know, I didn't watch the show, but I'd say that giving him a "fair hearing" would make him look stupider than actually trying to make him look stupid.

No, you're just not part of the Firefighter Demolition Teams (FDT). They're like the Firefighter version of the Speical Forces. It's all very hush-hush.

If I were forced to make my pick, I'd choose Goofy over Daffy Duck.

WTF is super thermate? What's the point of having an incendiary blown all to hell? Incendiary devices kind of have to be on what they are melting in order to work, not spread over a mile.

Anyone else notice that Mr. "I'm-Agnostic-on-911-Truth" has deliberately limited his choices to two MIHOPpers?

Why don't you explain to us why you don't feel inclined to trust any of THESE guys, Billy?

You have to read the rest of the article. This was only 4 days after the attacks, and obviously a case of mistaken identity. I stand corrected as to only one article though, I guess both Neweeks and Gannett reported on the same story.

U.S. military sources have given the FBI information that suggests five of the alleged hijackers of the planes that were used in Tuesday's terror attacks received training at secure U.S. military installations in the 1990s.

Three of the alleged hijackers listed their address on drivers licenses and car registrations as the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla.--known as the "Cradle of U.S. Navy Aviation," according to a high-ranking U.S. Navy source.

Another of the alleged hijackers may have been trained in strategy and tactics at the Air War College in Montgomery, Ala., said another high-ranking Pentagon official. The fifth man may have received language instruction at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Tex. Both were former Saudi Air Force pilots who had come to the United States, according to the Pentagon source.

But there are slight discrepancies between the military training records and the official FBI list of suspected hijackers--either in the spellings of their names or with their birthdates. One military source said it is possible that the hijackers may have stolen the identities of the foreign nationals who studied at the U.S. installations.

The demolition team of Jones and Fetzer? And how many buildings have they explosively demolished, again? What was that? I didn't hear you...... OH, None.

Do you also get driving advice from Stevie Wonder? I understand he has been in a car. Medical advice from your plumber?

See, Maybe it's just me but I would ask the Loizeaux family what they thought of the building collapse. YOU KNOW people who have actually done explosive implosions.

You Know... REAL EXPERTS.

If the so-called real experts would provide answers that could explain what really happened, then I wouldn't be spending time posting comments to people who accept the bogus official story.

But they have supplied answers and very reasonable and well thought out answers, based in fact and science.

Now just because you and many of your cohorts lack the intelligence to comprehend those answers does not make them any less true.

Someone here suggested the government should created visualizations of what happened on 911 to help the average truther understand the NIST reports? GEE!!! now you need pictures, too much YouTube shit I think.

Well how far does it have to be dumbed down to suite you? At some point you have to say "they are just too stupid to understand, fuck em"

Wtf? He had been in office a mere 8 months.

"Man, Dick. It's been 8 whole months! This is boring. What you say we kick things up a notch?"
